Why you should NOT shoot film!

We set out to use the Pentax ME with AGFA Vista 200 to cover tha State of The Nation Address (SONA) of President Duterte, but we were out of luck.. the lab we sent our film to messed up the entire roll! Good thing we had Canonet 28 as a backup camera. Not much great photos on there but at least some photos were saved (photos down below).

Anyhow, it was a great experience, definitely a learning one. It was hot out, and our first time shooting at rallies too. We encountered different people, different views, different ways of making their voices heard, but ultimately it showed how respectful they are still towards each other. The parts we covered were more peaceful than we thought they were going to be. The hundreds of policemen there didn't do anything, and a bunch of them were sleeping, lol. So many elements there we captured and were very excited about with the Pentax ME which unfortunately were all put to waste. Lesson learned, be very particular with the labs you go to, and also, know that there will always be things you can't control in film photography, especially when you don't develop your own films.. we're looking forward to doing that in the future!

That's all for now, see you in the next post!
